When Meyer Tawil contacted me , it was through his dad who I had consulted over 10 years ago. His dad said “If anyone can build your brand, Tamiko can.”

Six months later, Morning News Ltd has become a lifestyle brand that fuses lush lounge with the best elements of contemporary design using a streetwear drop strategy.

Meyer had a creative vision to drop new styles in different fabrications 4 times a year. We decided adding collaborations and driving the brand ethos would be the best way to engage customers and demand a space in the market.

In December, we were featured in the media for the “MN X ROAR- Support Your Local Restaurant” campaign. Morning News designed a t-shirt with proceeds to support shuddering restaurants suffering because of Covid. “When you see your fellow man struggling, you have to step in and help.” Not just a quote but a huge part of his personal and brand values.

The “Nostalgia” collection is the 2nd drop from Morning News Ltd. Using luxurious Turkish terry cloth and classic silhouettes, this collection is reminiscent of tennis clubs and varsity life.

As part of the brand story, we wanted to educate his community about Turkish Terry cloth.

Turkish terry is made from Turkish cotton. Turkish cotton is long fiber cotton and is grown in the small but productive Aegean Region. Turkish cotton is woven with longer fibers and smoother threads.

While both Egyptian and Turkish cotton offer long, absorbent fibers, Egyptian cotton tends to be more absorbent and slower to dry while Turkish cottons are slightly less absorbent and are quick to dry. This makes for faster absorbency of perspiration and more comfortable because it is softer.

Turkish Cotton is so durable that you can have faith that it will last you for years to come and that it gets softer and fluffier after each wash!

Long lasting quality in a classically, designed product for every body.

That’s Morning News’ goal.
