A HARD RESET FOR THE FASHION INDUSTRY
The fashion industry will have to "adjust accordingly". A new fashion calendar is just the beginning in my opinion.
As we all re-define "essential" and "necessary", customer needs & feedback will be heavily considered by fashion brands and retailers when making operational decisions, purchasing materials, wholesale purchasing & scheduling deliveries.
This "hard reset" has given urgency to the "buy now, wear now" model. With today's technology, access, and empowered consumer, it also makes more business sense.
